SI Lough Dan 2010

Proudly Supported by Scouting Radio, we hope Scouts will be interested in the Lough Dan Summer camp hosted by Scouting Ireland in 2010
Lough Dan are Proud to be able to announce that we are running a Keep It Simply Scouting Camp next July.
The emphasis of this camp is back to simplicity. What we are runnning is a week long summer camp in Lough Dan, with both water and land activities, of a hughe range. All activities will take place on the grounds of the site, or within walking distance. The list of activies planned is huge, and ever growing. Everything from abseiling and catapult building, to crate climbing and archery, sailing, kayaking...
The price of the Camp is 135 euro. This includes camp fees for the week, and all the program activities, aswell as the subcamp and evening activites. Groups are expected to self cater, but procedures will be put inplace for groups with no transport to the supermarkets. Groups will be allowed to light fires on their own site, and firewood will be provided!
The camp runs for 8 days, from Sunday 25th July, until Sunday the 1st August 2010. With four days of Activities, and one onsite camp funday midweek.
Pioneering poles will be provided. One per scout, so you should have enough to build your biggest gate yet!
All four subcamps will be in the HUGE jamboree field, which is perfectly suited for a camp of this size, and remains dry and well drained even when the heavens open!
